EU Feminist Foreign Policy

The EU needs an intersectional, feminist and rights-based foreign policy to change the unjust power balance in the world and reduce global inequalities. Commitment to gender equality, human rights and the empowerment of excluded people must guide our external action.

consistent action for Sustainable Development

The EU must ensure its actions to address global challenges are aligned towards a positive impact. The effects of our economic, social and environmental policies on partner countries should be regularly assessed to guarantee their coherent contribution to Agenda2030.

Civic Space and Democracy

The EU must do more to protect and support civic space and democracy globally. Civil society should be involved in all stages of transparent decision-making, including in such areas as sustainable development, environment, budget, human rights and relations with Africa.

Funding for Sustainable Development

The EU should provide sufficient and transparent funds to address global challenges and tackle inequalities in line with the Agenda 2030. Global Gateway projects and the implementation of the Global Europe instrument NDICI must be transparent and open to civil society inputs.
