In the August issue of National Geographic, a photo series by András Hajdú D. was published, featuring Mbedji, a girl from Congo whose sight was restored by Hungarian ophthalmologist Richárd Hardi nine years ago. 🤗
HAND (Hungarian Association of NGOs for Development and Humanitarian Aid) supported András’s first trip and this current one. Additionally, we are working together on an artistic project titled LifePaths, which will include photo reports and a short film. 📸
The project explores how we impact each other, what experiences connect us, and the global challenges we face.
An exhibition of the photos will also be held at Európa Pont from October 14 to November 4 – more details coming soon.
In the meantime, head to your nearest newsstand and grab a copy of the National Geographic Hungary edition! 🙂
